Jester Mgee Productions is a cutting edge small group of tallented creative individuals aimed at providing both FREE and Comissioned media services. Primarily Music and Audo production, we are also able to now offer Video editing and filming services through partner company CLU Productions as well as source actors, voice artists and musicians for your projects
The creator (Jester Mgee) has been involved in music production, DJing, producing and all things sound related for over 15 years and is very passionate about what he does. If it's unknown to him, he will not rest until it is well known.
What started as a personal hobby is now offered to the worldwide community. My studio may not be as big as the others, but the tallent is all here for you to see. Offered FREE to you throughout this site, we are here to help you, the artist, achieve what you want.

Files Offline
All files are currently offline due to the file hosting site I use finally going under after years of issues. The site appears offline and I have to find another solution and move all my media. The FREELANCESOUNDLABS site is also in the same position.
I will be looking at site hosting options and looking to move to a larger dedicated host but this will take time.

May 24 2011Whats Been Happening
Lots! The new site is a work in progress. It's a lot of work and the more features I add, the more work it becomes. I have had issues (as always) with spammers and automated registration bots on the new site registering fake accounts which I have had to handle. I have been doing a lot of "real world" life stuff (such as catching up with friends, spending time with family and house maintenance), all that sort of stuff. I have also been out recording sounds, editing sounds and learning new skills in the studio. Hopefully some of this will make it up here. A lot of new released material will be found on my other site www.freelancesoundlabs.com as this is my main aim now to create music, scores, SFX and soundscapes for personal and commercial use. Full previews of all material are available and if you like something and really want to use it, you are free to do so for a small fee. Some extras will appear on this site which are not suitable for sale (such as remixes) and I will be maintaining this site as more of a personal blog site where you can find out about what I am doing, the studio, the works in progress and so on.

What Is It?
This new site has been created by me to offer Sound Effects and Musical Compositions to people that have a creative need for this type of material. Along with creating music and scores for films and other projects I am also armed with a mobile recording rig, stereo microphone and an interest to map the world of sound around us.
What's So Different From All The Samples Out There Already?
A few things. On the music side, I offer only what I create so anything that requires changing can be done for you. This allows flexible usage of material since it can be changed at any time to suit new projects. I can also compose similar compositions or make them for you from scratch.
On the sound effects side of things I collect these from scratch. This allows me to catch new sounds and fresh ideas. In addition to this I also document a heap of information with the captured sounds INCLUDING the map location of the sound with GoogleMaps links to my recording locations. You can get a visual idea of the location along with the sound. All my locations are tagged on my own Google Map so you can see where I have been and what I have recorded.
In addition to all of this, the prices are some of the lowest you will find for royalty free samples and music. If you do not intend using these for commercial applications then you only need pocket money to buy these. Think of this as an enforced donation. Gold coin payments for most of the sounds and once I have enough I will also offer bulk sample packs.
If all that still isn't enough then let me know what you need and I will try and work with you. The aim is to provide a personal service to anyone that needs sound. This also includes services listed on this site.
Both JesterMgeeProductions and FreelanceSoundLabs are owned, run and maintained by me. Running 2 sites, recording and editing samples, creating music, working on custom projects, attending a full time job and being a father is quite a lot to fit into a day. It's difficult but great fun and it's the main reason it's being done.
